Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
In this unbalanced time
It's good to see the sun rise
Due east as it should.
Halfway from summer,
Hanging in the year's balance,
Halfway to winter...
Ooh poetry
Happy Mabon! Nice to see the point where the sun rises on this ay, and not again for 6 months. I do hope the year starts improving soon, but am doubtful at this juncture.
I love your photos of the mountains. You live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
