Built by George Vanderbilt to be the centerpiece of Biltmore Village, as well as a destination for his house guests on a Sunday morning, the Cathedral's roofline caught my eye as I was waiting at a red light.
George's village church is a beauty--and worth a visit. More about the Cathedral HERE.

If only you had written, "the Cathedral's roofline caught my eye while waiting at a red light." But you are too clever.
I often stop at that red light and see the beauty of the outside of All Souls, but I've never been inside. The archtectural style is very different than Vanderbilt's own mansion, a few miles down the winding roads on Biltmore grounds. Perhaps he thought the Arts And Crafts style more for the common man.
AC-Whew--glad I didn't make that mistake!
I still remember part of the description of the Vanderbilt's property not far away I presume. Beyond description! This seems more down to earth.
