I wonder if you eat persimmons. Nice little wild turkeys. Have a good day...the rain will be over soon!
They are delicious--once there's been a frost. But they are small and the seed inside is large so if one wants to cook with them, it's a lot of fuss.
I don't think I've encountered a persimmon (or a wild turkey, for that matter!)
I love persimmons!! I've got a few trees in the yard that are loaded this year. Just hope I can get to them before the deer, turkeys, raccoons, opossums, every critter loves persimmons!
