Going to Water

Going to water, for the Cherokee, was a ritual to cleanse themselves of past troubles. For me, it's a calming device.

I need it right now because my laptop is acting up--not charging and now and then seemingly afflicted with molasses in its innards.

All of which is to say, if I don't post here or show up on FB--that's why.

Seeking a solution . . .

I like the phrase.
I suspect there will be a new laptop coming your way.

A reply to your comment because if you’re like me you never go back.

We still do to some extent as our 1 and 2 dollar denominations are coins. We don’t even use cents here as the amount is rounded off. For example: $5.01 0r.02 becomes $5 while $5.03 and up becomes $5.05. But that is just for hard currency. Cents still are used in credit and debit payment.

Interesting. I wonder if pennies in actual use will disappear here.

I still pick up pennies on the ground...but quickly use them as tips...and I definitely go to water to help calm my mind/feelings.

Good luck. Technology breakdown so frustrating - we are so dependent. My laptop is aged and I figure I am typing on borrowed time!
