Greening

Spring green should be a color for paint. It's all those baby leaves just popping out, a freshness, a newness, just plain wonderful to see! Then contrast them with evergreens, and it's the contrast of such different greens. (Could it be that I now don't have cataracts, so I do see much better?)

It feels long-awaited this year.

And isn't glorious? I love seeing the green return. We have lots of evergreens, but that's not the same thing.

It’s happening here too. 👍

Tis the season when Robert Frost runs through my mind--"Nature's first green is gold."

It is very green in your hills, and it’s lovely. When I left for Georgia most of my trees were still bare in TN, then 10 days later when I came back, they were all green; it came so quickly. Although in Nashville so many front yards have brown shrubs because of the deep freeze we experienced before Christmas. I have two of them and am waiting to see if they turn green sometime.
