Yesterday was great! I wore my long princess dress that Grandma gave me and my special Moana amulet.
But then I changed to a short dress.
Meema is really glad that I can put on my shoes and socks by myself now. That was a job that used to make both of us cranky when the sock would get stuck.
We did lots of stuff. I put the laundry in the dryer and helped wash dishes and practiced writing my letters. (Sometimes when I write my name, I get the J for Josie turned the wrong way, but Meema is helping me practice the right way.)
Also, we read Pippi Longstocking. She is my new favorite and Meema is getting me two more books about her. Then we read some of my magazines and there was a recipe for pumpkin bread and we made some! I stirred!
And I licked the bowl.
It was done just in time for after lunch!
I have a book about learning to draw animals and I tried it. I did a turtle and a bear (there is a flower and a tree and a honey pot and the sun and the sky and grass in the bear picture.) I am pretty good.
This is a cat. You can see the whiskers and the pointy ears. Also, I wrote C-A-T on the paper.
Later we went out to the porch and I did a jingle dance. I have had these jingle bells FOREVER!
Then I put my long dress back on and went to help Meema water the plants that looked droopy.
We played a game called Dodge the Water. It is lots of fun.
I like to run under it. It is a fun game . . .
especially when you get wet.

And who dries her off afterward? 😄 I love these reports on Josie's activities.
She took off her dress and hung it on the porch to dry Then she played some more and eventually, drip-dried.
Grandma must be tried after these days.
Plumb wore out is what I am.
Wow, she keeps you active!
