A country that cared more for its living children than for fertilized eggs, that treated the Earth as the fragile mother of us all, that practiced loving one's neighbor rather than merely mouthing it, that chose its leaders based, not on appearance or party, but on experience and ethics.
Imagine.

It's a lovely image.
What's happening in our beautiful country breaks my heart.
Yes to all those ideas. Keep on having imagination to push them forward, in any way possible.
A certain song comes to mind. You could add your own verse.
Thank you Vicki, I think more and more people are beginning to imagine and those imaginations need to transfer to votes. Imagine that...
When we are having a very difficult time, as this week was, I imagine all those things and wonder how we traveled so far from the dreams of this beautiful country.
I also imagine being back in those peaceful hills and letting the world just fade away.
Imagine a country like that … but it’s name would not be the USA because it was founded on violence – killing as many natives as possible to obtain the land – it is in the culture. Culture changes in a country super slowly. Some cultural traits last for centuries unfortunately, like the constant use of violence. This is the most violent of the western richest countries (and the most religious, too …) Constantly one hears that if someone doesn’t approve of what an official, personality or a regular person said, they send death threats. In Kennesaw, GA., 3 miles from my house in Cobb County, it is the law to own a gun, you have to own one to live there.
