Too Beautiful, Too Early

Idyllic days...

Of course, enjoyment of those days is tempered by thoughts of climate change, as well as the memory of a March blizzard and April snows of the past.

But who can argue with the impatience of the weeping cherry

                                Or the insistent daffodils?

Absolutely gorgeous and a treat to see.But yes, I'm sure we'll have more winter yet - snow is forecast here in UK for this week.

I'm not out taking so many photos of the blossoms as much as I'm just staring mouth agape!

When we were out and about in the car a few days ago, I was astonished by how much is in bloom already. So many saucer magnolias and plums everywhere! One more freeze, and all those beautiful blossoms will be brown and shriveled. Our temperature this morning is 36, not far off freezing.

It's seems to early for the daffodils and to be coming up and the dogwoods are in bloom here It is beautiful but it does seem so very odd! Beautiful photos!
