Fleeting Beauty

Sunday was rainy and chilly, but the spring blossoms shone through the gloom. Redbud and forsythia-- lots of forsythia--are having their moment.

And the quince and the star magnolia and the weeping willow, as well as an unidentified, white-blossomed tree up the mountain--perhaps a haw?

Dropping temperatures may soon destroy all this loveliness, but they can't undo my enjoyment of the moment.

I hope you get to enjoy them until they fade naturally.

Such beautiful color! Spring and Fall are so lovely. Their colors are so very sensual! Thank you! Cathy
