Perfect Imperfection Again

This is from a smallish cherry log, not completely seasoned. John turned it anyway, hoping it wouldn't crack as it dried.

But it did. So he filled the cracks with this pretty stuff.


I love the contrast with the wood.


Perfect.

I love this! What an amazing talent to have. Does he sell these? There is definitely a market. He should take some to a craft festival, or find a local shop that will sell them. Tourists and fall leafers would love them. I would snatch this up in a second. (Then Jerry would ask, "Where are we going to put it?")
