This poignant plea appeared recently on two blocks atop the bridge to this little church. I don't know if it's an official message from the church or an anonymous request,
I'll have to talk to Miss Birdie next week--maybe she has some inside information.

Seems quite sad somehow, if it's graffiti painted in desperation.
Whether from a parishoner or a graffiti artist, I doubt the church will have the messages removed. They kind of introduce the worshipers to get into the right mood for serious spiritual thoughts.
