Something about this tidy little building really appeals to me--probably the red roof against the blue sky.
And here, it's the tracery of branches against the sky. Below, it's the red roof, the branches, and (on my computer, at least) the gorgeous blue of the sky.

They have a stark quality, so watercolors would carry that forward well...leaving out even some of the elements from the photos and focusing on what you find most interesting. Go for it!
The colour looks good to me. I like the middle photo, even lacking a red roof.
