Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
Peace and a Thanksgiving's reminder :-)
Goodness, Vicki... you've got a tree full of little yellow birds! Are those songbirds?
A goldfinch, maybe?
Are you detecting just the slightest whiff of autumn in the air, Vicki?
oo cool capture of the hummer....what seed pod is that first one? its got cool texture....
The pattern in the cat's fur is amazing!
A nice ripe fig among the requisite sculptor's fig leaves...but I'm glad comments were made about yellow birds, I missed them the first time through. Those are way too big to be raspberries, so I wonder what they are...
Those raspberry looking things are the seed pod/fruit of the Kousa/Korean Dogwood. They will be a gorgeous coral before long.
Vicki, there I was, scrolling through the gracefully beautiful photos...and then i got to the turkeys and just had to giggle.Thank you for the surprise at the end.xo
