I've always hated the light in fall. I refer to it as "cheap" light--it isn't as solid and full-on as the light in high summer, yet it isn't as fully low on the horizon as light in the dead of winter. "Slant of light" is the perfect phrase to describe my "cheap" light. Thank you!

It's that time of year when the sun is not straight overhead that gives that slant look.It makes for good photos.
