These are beautiful! I didn't know there were "tree" peonies. In our side yard in Sacramento, we had a whole row of magenta peonies that we just loved. But they were close to the ground. How I loved their scent, even though the blossoms were so short lived.

These are bushes, maybe four feet tall. They bloom earlier than the regular peonies but their blooms are not as fragrant. Also fleeting.
Lush and lovely.
