It's not all bad news--as countries shut down, the planet is trying to heal itself--folks stay home; air and water pollution drop. Swans and porpoises are spotted in Venice's usually murky canals -- now clear. (See article HERE.) UPDATE: Well, the water is clearer, but no swans and porpoises. This was evidently some wishful thinking.
It may be the dope slap we've needed all along.

Those blossoms.
I so much agree - and what glorious pictures of nature too.
What a reassuring thought. Lovely photographs of spring in the mountains.
It is indeed a "time-out" for humanity. I guess I'm glad it wasn't Armageddon as forecast.,,but pretty close.
We were talking about this at dinner last night. Hopefully this will result in some better ways to manage our lives without endangering our world as we have been doing.
Sadly, I believe that when the virus subsides, people will go right back to their usual wasteful, polluting behavior. And will be happy to do so.
