Who are they? Good to hear they have had 55 years...or do you mean you all?

Today is John's and my fifty-fifth. The couple representing us are an old picture from the early 19900's.

That's simply unbelievable. I mean of course it's wonderful. But how the heck could you be old enough to be married that long!

I was 20 and John had just turned 21 when we got married. We'd been "going steady" for four years. We are nothing if not persistent.

Congratulations, Vickie and John. We wish you many more.

Congratulations. I was 20 and my sweetheart John was 21 when we married in 1958. We'd met in our last year of high school- the only year we were there. We'd been in love for 3 years and decided that we should try to live together. I worked full time, he part time while finishing at Caltech then he did graduate work at Harvard. We're both happy to be together still.

Big congratulations! That's a long time to be together, and an even longer time to be happy together. Wishing you many more to come. You're great role models!
