Spring Flowers and a Reminder

Time to enjoy the crocus . . .

And the daffodil . . .

And past time to wash the windows.

(Though, in my defense, some of that is the clouding that happens in elderly double-paned windows,)

Don't you just hate having that window with the fog inside the panes? This is the time of year we most want to look out and see the new greens as they appear.

I am so ready for Spring, your pictures gave me a lift. However, we are in Braga, Portugal, now, and Spring has come to Braga — in the form of tulips! There are tulips everywhere, along with cabbage plants. Your daffodils grabbed my heart, though. I have always loved daffodils and really relate to Wordsworth's poem about them. That incredible yellow . . .

And in the west, 20 million people right now are getting buried under several feet of snow. I am very happy to live where we have an early, long spring!.

It's nice to see your spring bulbs. We used to have crosues, and I would get down and give it my best shot. Your daff pic is very nice.

Yellow and purple make a soft gray or a brown depending of the applied quantity.
