What gorgeous blooms of a plant with which I am not all that familiar.
These are wonderful closeups...and these silly flowers bloom through snowstorms, and still face down. I've never grown them, but have found them in friends' gardens and look at them in awe. No wonder they're called Lenten Roses.
I’ve been out today to admire my hellebores too. They look splendid at this time of year. I haven’t cut all the old leaves off yet, some are rather sickly looking and need burning.
