As most of you know, my corner cupboard, once the place I displayed special seasonal objets, is now half Josie territory. I still get the top two shelves but as she grows, her empire may move upward.
I'm always interested in how she arranges the Castle People. Often by the time she leaves, they are just a Big Mess but on Monday she left an interesting scene.
The horses and the Dire Wolf were on the second shelf with four Faery riders, pretty much as they'd been before.
On the bottom shelf though, Something was going on.
This one's very crowded.
I think this king is propositioning the lady in blue.
And this barge is atop a yellow rock, some of its passengers are caught in a net, and the purple queen has swooned. Or something. It's her king that's propositioning the blue lady. This king (whose wife is on the other barge party boat) looks to be having entirely too good a time considering the situation.
And the party spirit has spread upward to the third shelf where Mary and Joseph have put Baby Jesus on a sled.

Some people see a tree, and then some people can see the story behind the tree. You and Josie will be collaborating on a new mystery it sounds like, full of intrigue! I had to laugh that Jesus got to ride on a sled!
I would love to know what really goes on in her imagination. The friend who gave her the castle people opened up a new world for her.
Me, I'm beginning to wonder how she'll take to games like Dungeons & Dragons not all that many years in the future ... The imagination is undoubtedly there, and the playfulness, and she has her Meemaw to keep those alive in her.
Her daddy and uncle are serious gamers. She'll be into soon.
With such imagination she’ll be writing up books with enchanted worlds. Lovely for you to have her close as so many of us can’t be close to our grand-kids still. Hopefully 2021 will bring us more freedom of movement. Have a great one.
I just giggled the whole time I read through your "story" of Josie's characters. She's already a story teller, just like her Gram!
It’s clearly New Years Eve at the castle!😊
