Purple pickerelweed
Our two big native cherry trees have been dropping yellowed leave for a couple of weeks. They always start this in August. But next week we'll be in the mid-90s.
August seems to have gone far too quickly, perhaps because of the dreary weather we've had here. The evenings feel chilly all of a sudden.
