Let There Be Lights!

We don't rush into Christmas. But once it's December, I put away the Autumn decor and bring out the red and green.

And the lights! Yesterday was so dark and gloomy that the lights were a wonderful addition. Slowly we are inching toward full Christmas glory--John plans to get a tree on Saturday and Justin, Claui, and Josie will help us decorate it on Sunday.

I am sure that it will soon be cheerfully and cheerily lit.

Great to have a twinkle or two for dreary days.

I'm sure it will be beautiful. Do Cori and Angeline get into the tree?

Cory and Angeline are kept in the back half of the house, away from the leather sofas which they have already scratched up and, as well, away from the tree. (They have a Ficus tree in the bedroom which they sometimes climb.)

I love this shift into the Christmas season. This is my favorite time of the year, and Xmas is my favorite holiday.
