Still on the Razor's Edge

I doubt I'll stay awake long enough for a definitive look at the matter before us and a post about winning or losing or waiting.
Josie will be here tomorrow and I need my sleep.  So here are some cool cars I saw last week in Marshall.

Update: I did get up at three and look at what was happening. Arrgh!  How can so many people be so misguided? So I went back to bed. When six rolled around--my usual time for getting up on Josie days--I just wanted to pull the covers over my head and stay there.

But I got up, got dressed, dealt with the litterbox and the laundry, filled the bird feeders, and continued on.

Because no matter what the final outcome of this election, that's what we'll do. There are people and critters counting on us.

My stomach hurts.

I have to remember that what I choose to do is still important. That it still matters no matter the outcome. And I can still choose to make a positive impact.

So sorry. You have done what you could. So far Arizona is luckier.
The important thing is to be still able to hug our loved ones...

And we just take one step at a time, and put on our big girl pants one leg at a time.

I am in Georgia right now. I did not think I could watch the tele without fainting. I don’t know about GA though. They assured me that my absentee ballot had been mailed mid September. I came twice to get it and by Oct 28 it had not arrived so I voted in person. GA has a long history of voter suppression though so I am not too optimistic.

As for the automobiles you show – they are beautiful. The first one reminded me that I bought a second-hand car like that (not as pretty but green and as big) years ago in Atlanta. It was huge and drank gas like crazy (regular leaded.) Once I took 8 pilots from Senegal and my husband in it to go and watch a jazz festival in Piedmont Park. They were not even tight in the car. Now I wish I had taken photographs.
