CROWS is getting some very nice reviews, for which I'm most grateful--reviews really help an author reach a wider audience. Of course, more would be welcome. On Thanksgiving night, I'll be drawing names for this handsome print, signed by the artist (Nancy Darrell.) To get your name in the hat, leave a review of Crows on Goodreads or Amazon, or Barnes and Noble, or on the Regal House page. A few words is all it takes--a review doesn't have to be a book report. Leave reviews at multiple sites and I'll put your name in multiple times. Just email me (vicki3laneATgmail.com ) and let me know where the review is.
AND I still have some book plates--I'll happily sign and personalize one (or more) for you if you send me a self-addressed, stamped envelope (590 Wool Branch Road, Marshall, NC 28763) and tell me how you'd like the book plate to read. (Wouldn't a copy of Crows with a personalized bookplate be a nice holiday gift for a reading friend?)
And that's enough Blatant Self Promotion for a while.

I think all of the authors I know find the self-promotion part of writing as a career to be the hardest. But with publishers doing less and less promotion for most writers, what else are you going to do?
Exactly--and even more with a small publisher, it's crucial. Dammit.
I tried to post my review but am not considered adequate as a customer at Amazon, not having paid the minimum $50. But I happily bought your book at Malaprops, in Asheville. My copy is on loan right now to a friend. Sorry, I wish we could have bought two or twenty copies. I do plan to re-read it soon, because as I read it I did go back and forth a few times, to figure out which character had what relationship to another one. Next time will be easier since I already know that! I do hope you sell quite a million or so.
Thank you, Barb, for supporting Malaprop's (and me!)
I have to read my copy as soon as possible to be able to say something about it... ;-)
Thank you for your addition Vicki.
