More Hummingbirds and a Video
Here's a link to a video of the action at the feeder. I think that there are 10 or 12 hummers -- mostly females and juveniles. John and I were sitting in the rocking chairs enjoying the show.
Wonderful show! We've been noticing more hummingbirds over here in Yancey, too. We don't have a feeder, but we do have lots of flowers. I wonder if it's all the rain that's causing the larger number of these birds? More rain, more flowers, more hummingbirds?

PS YouTube wouldn't let me see the video---said it was private. :-(
Thanks, Deana -- I think I've fixed it where the public can view it now...
Yes, I watched video, it's fantastic. I've never seen a gaggle of hummers...now I've got to learn what their flock term is.
Same thing happening here. Hardly anyone gets to eat because of the fighting.
What a show you and your husband must enjoy on your porch. I bet you get a great amount of different birds on your property!! -- barbara
...I 'm smiling too!
Very pleasant !
Looking at the video, I' heard John's voice, but not your voice, unfortunately...
