So summer - looks beautiful!
How very summery this is. I love the shape of the pears dangling from the tree.
You with the hoe, new American Gothic. ;-)Wonder how the Cherokee Gardens look these days.
hey i just picked a bag of pears yesterday to bring to my father in law...my grapes are going to be ready this week too...mmm...cant wait...love that sun flower...
Vicki, these summer garden photos are so fine, I could even imagine what sounds might accompany the images.Thank you! xo
Your garden is amazing, especially considering all of the rain that we've had. Do I see purple hull peas? Why I believe I do. As a child I shelled a zillion of them. Ended up with purple thumbs too...Sam
Sam, those are Purple Royalty beans -- no shelling required. They're headed for the freezer.
I never heard of those beans, but they sound convenient. Love the sunflower and all the rest of your garden pictures. You are way ahead of us. We just planted some seeds a few weeks ago, late for a whole lot of reasons. We'll see what we get.
