A Stylin' Ride Again

Maybe I just wasn't holding my mouth right. It looks like these are going to post...

Isn't this a beauty?

The perfect ride for sight seeing in Historic Rugby. . .

Back in the Forties, my grandfather had a black one like this -- rumble seat and all.
It was named "The Puddlejumper."

What a lovely car, which fits so well with the houses. Is it a "T" or "A"? I don't remember the difference...not that I was there!

Barb -- my husband says it's a 1929 Ford Model A. He had a similar one (but with a back seat) back in high school in the late Fifties and never forgave his parents for selling it when he went off to college.

I love those old cars! My uncle restored old cars and I remember riding in the rumble seat of one. Rather a rough ride.

Actually it's a 1930 Model A Deluxe Coupe, according to the owner who lives in Loudon, Tennessee. You can see this car and many others at Historic Rugby's second annual antique car show Saturday, July 13, 2013, as well as all of the Victorian homes. By the way, great pictures, Vicky. Jim
