In any event, it was a pleasurable moment, hearing that E. Jean Carroll has prevailed in her suit against the Former Guy and has been awarded five million dollars. "The pu__y grabs back," as some have said.
Of course, he'll appeal and drag this out as long as possible. And, of course, his true believers don't care whether he's guilty. Why, as he said, he could shoot someone in the middle of the street, and they wouldn't care. They've overlooked so many indications of a deeply disturbed personality--what's a little sexual assault and defamation?
But still, it's a nice moment.

I am glad all the work she's done to vindicate herself has received some positive results. You're so right about the blind people of both sexes who believe he's sort of divine...he can get away with anything, because he's got a smooth talking lie about it. So in a way I'm sad. Just another day when so many duped Americans are not seeing truth.
It is deeply troubling that so many republicans in high office are parroting his absurd claims that this is all a "witch hunt." What does it take to open their eyes? Is this truly the kind of person they want in the presidency?
Plus George Santos is now facing federal charges. Dare we hope there's a pinprick of light at the end of the long, ominously dark tunnel?
The news about Santos was the cherry on top!
May there be more pleasurable moments in progress. Won't change the willful ignorance of some, however. I'd 'drink to that' except I don't usually drink. Not a teetotaler, just don't think of it. (Unfortunately, I DO often think about ice cream.) :)
Well summarized: all true.
I just keep hoping something will stick and take Mr Trump out of circulation for good. The thought of him gaining the Presidency again is nothing short of horrific.
