Vicki, that architecture is very stirring agains the glory of the sky. Great drama! (Please don't let the kittehs know there is other drama available in Asheville. I think that the pups can handle it.)
The sky makes it for dramatic photos. I’d love to go back to Asheville. For my husband’s birthday in February a few years ago we stopped there on our way to a bed and breakfast a co-worker owned in Burnsville. We stopped at the, well I forgot the name, let me look … yes, it was called the Grove Park Inn – we were in the historic section and it was really nice. But driving to Asheville we got totally lost and never had time to visit the town, so that is why I’d love to go back – but not in winter.

A nice introduction to the city.
I'm on a small laptop, is that a bell in there?
Love Asheville. Great photos Vicki. Thanks for reminding me to "look up."

Ms. A -- I don't know for sure -- will see if I can find out.
Ha, I just posted Woolworth Walk, and you've got the top of City Hall (I think). Yaay Asheville!
I really like the top of the one building with its interesting construction. I will have to look it up as I have no knowledge of the area.
