Too Cold, Too Wet . .

"Too wet to go out . . ."

"Too cold to play ball,
So we sat in the house
And did nothing at all."

"And all we could do was to sit, sit, sit. . ."

"And we did not like it, not one little bit."
(quoting Dr. Seuss from memory and perhaps inaccurately)

They look snuggly warm inside, since they can't go out.

Yes, our animals know that bad weather is time to be inactive. Sorry to see you've also added word verification here...it will limit the amount of comments I make.

What!?! I have it set on NO word verification. I'll try to get it fixed... I hate Word Verification

I don't know what's the matter with the blasted thing. I have it set at No WV and it does it anyway.

Lucy hates the rain too. But it's never too cold for her. Poor thing, she has to snuggle in her own bed and not on the furniture.

PS I posted the comment without typing in the verification and it went through just fine.

Thanks, NCMountainwoman -- I'll see if it works for me. (Yes, they want me to do it too-- on my own %#$%^ blog!

Okay, it did. So just ignore the WV thingie.

I love the photo of the dog under the blankie. It seems very in the spirit of Dr. Seuss. I always think I know those Seuss books by heart, but never get quite the right words.

Down in the hollows and crannies were a cold wind blows there is a oak with a knot hollowed out where a squirrel lays with its tail cured around its nose.

Down in the burrow all dank and dark lies a bunch of little rabbits away from the foxes bark

I don't mind verification, but thanks for letting me know about the work around.
