Today's sunrise was pink here in CT...though the sunset is happening around 3:30...not enough daylight for my taste. Can't wait to see those mountains of NC again!
The most beautiful sunrise I've seen in years were the ones we were witness to over Stone Mountain in October. GORGEOUS! This reminds me of those sunrises. Beautiful.

I might wake up early to see mornings in the NC mountains. In fact, when I used to go there, I did! They have beauty all day long.
That molten gold sky of sunrise mesmerizes me, but photo #4 . . . I could look at it all day. The layers of hills going away to the horizon!
I think the most spectacular sunrise I ever saw was at Max Patch on a backpacking trip. It was the highlight of the whole trip.
