I like "yard art" or "found art" usually...and this sculptural piece definitely qualifies as an "installation." Those are the terms college professors devised to describe this kind of piece. However, I must say I'm curious as to the central black plastic? thing. I wonder what it represents...which is ok, cause art speaks to us all in different ways.
Well, he has it pretty well all covered . . . angels and lights and a tree and a cross. Maybe the black plastic-covered thing is a manger, to be uncovered on 12/25 at 12:01am.

I wondered about the black plastic myself, Barb. But at least there's a kitteh. And maybe June's suggestion is correct -- I'll let you all know . . .
Very original actually and full marks to him for using what he had available. Given the money we could all make a splendid display couldn't we. 😀
I would also be captivated by seeing this arrangement each year in person.
When I saw your first photograph, Vicki, I thought that perhaps it was some sort of doll house.
