What craftsmanship the carpentry shows! So I think those men really cared about their animals and crops - as well as the fact that they would be looking through those slats every day they worked there themselves!
Beautiful old barn. Love the aging giving character to the wood, not unlike aging in people, both made more beautiful by the passing of time. Though in people the true character shines forth, whether joy and kindness or the opposites.
