Killer Recipes

Killer Recipes, is the brain child of mystery author Susan Whitfield who dedicates it to her grandson Caleb Graham Whitfield, a cancer survivor, and to all others who have been touched by cancer. All proceeds from its sales will go to the American Cancer Society.

I was delighted to be one of the mystery writers asked to participate and sent several family recipes -- including, of course, Ba's Pound Cake.
I ordered some copies (you could do the same HERE .) Remember, all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

And, if you're feeling lucky, you could leave me a comment asking to be included in the drawing for a copy. You must ask to be included before 10 pm on Sunday.  I'll announce the winning name on my Monday post.

Yes, I'll send it to you even if you live on the other side of the world!

A great cause, Vicki. Our daughter is always baking something new, so I'd better ask to be included in the drawing, please.

Would love to be included! I've always hoped that someday someone will publish the recipes and meals that are mentioned in Robert Parker's Spenser series.

How could you not want to be in the draw for a book with a cover like that! And no, I don't generally judge a book by it's cover!!!!!

When I saw the title I immediately thought "artery-clogging." Didn't even give a thought to mystery writers.

I do love it when writers include recipes of special foods served by the characters. I've tried several of them and found them all to be delicious.

I'm glad you were included. I can always use another pound cake recipe.

Looks like a fun book to read (and cook by). Yes, I'm feeling lucky so I'd love to be included in the drawing too. It is always fun trying anyway.

I don't want to be added for the contest as I'm one of the contributors. I just wanted to publicly thank Susan for putting this together. She did an awesome job as well as our publisher L & L Dreamspell. I recommend page 127 for fantastic mac 'n cheese. It's a meal by itself. The books make great Christmas gifts. LOL

I nearly missed this because I got behind with my Blog reading! That wouldn't do, would it!
What a great idea and what an evocative title. It put me in mind of a play I saw on TV over here, which had the unlucky victim dying after eating a sandwich with some homemade potted meat in it!
I'd love to be entered into the draw and if I win, please send the book to my American address, which I can give you in the unlikely event that I get lucky!

I linked to the squash recipes, and Wow! I think I could get First Husband to eat endless amounts of squash with these recipes.

Please enter me in the drawing for Killer Recipes!

Vicki, the book looks fantastic on your site! Thank you so much for helping get the word out and for submitting wonderful recipes for it. I can hardly wait to bake Ba's pound cake. I just returned from Killer Nashville where the cookbook was a hit. I hope folks will buy them by the case to give as gifts for all occasions. The recipe titles get lots of giggles but the recipes are delicious and are safe for consumption. Enjoy, everyone!
