Floating . . .

Floating

Between earth and sky
Ancient mountains remember
A time without man.

They have seen him come,
Death in his every footstep,
They will see him go.

Patient in their age,
The mountains wait.

Oooh, I didn't know you were also a poet. Yes, these old mountains have endured, and still will when our footsteps are just echoes.
