Love the sun peeking over the mountain. At my house, I've been lately noticing that the sun no longer peeks over the mountain directly behind the big hemlock, like it has most of the winter, but a bit to the left...

Thanks for identifying the mystery bird on my blog yesterday! I looked it up, and I believe you're right. "House finch"...what a plain jane name for such a pretty bird. I was just sure I'd spotted the rare red-crested plumed pine warbler or something similarly exotic!

I'm watching that amaryllis with interest because of my own in
England. Since I can't see it at all at the moment, I am pretending that it is yours and watching it that way. It's growing well!
Have a great Sunday.

Oooh, love the tones on that last image. And your amaryllis looks perky.

Such peaceful bliss for a Sunday.

So far, there's not enough light coming through my window to fool my amaryllis. My dieffenbachia "dumb cane" (that likes partial sun) is dropping its leaves. I'm even thinking about buying one of those full spectrum lights to keep MY body parts can stop drooping!

I must have been dipping into the cider when I wrote that last comment. My body parts, while drooping, might enjoy a full-spectrum light. If it does, I'll let everyone know.

Ahhh. A moment of calm in the storm around me. Thank you.
