Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
They produce some extremely artistic creations just be being so free. Love how the paint is on her face too! I'm sure she'll enjoy painting for many years (until school neutralises her creativity?)
So very free...and then there's something about hands covered with paint...she seems to be considering that's another creativity of hers.
Deserves a frame, xx
Josie has a real passion for her art! She really gets into it! I love all that exuberance.
I hope all the adults in her life will do their best to keep that creativity alive!
How adorable. Isn't it wonderful when she can create freely and not worry about the lines?
I love that! My best memories from second grade were the days we got to finger paint.
What a glorious time she had, and it looks like she doesn't mind getting dirty. That's a good thing. My oldest actually decided that the sand on the beach was "dirt" and refused to play or make a sand castle. Go figure.
