Instructions for Living a Life

Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.

From Mary Oliver's  poem "Sometimes" -- Read it all HERE

These dandelions and their shadows caught my eye this morning. Somehow the shadows seemed more substantial than the originals.

I love the effect of those shadows!

How interesting to see the shadows, and how flat they are compared with the dandelion heads.

Great minds and all that... I was similarly intrigued by some tulips and their shadows. I'll post my photo in a few days. You wouldn't think things as insubstantial as dandelion seed heads could produce such clear shadows.

Lines from that poem - and shadows paid attention to. Perfect.

The shadows are looking at the casters and saying is that me or am I me? The shadows do look more real. Thanks for sharing
