Our dusting of snow has locals laughing at it, and wondering if the schools will again be closed...apparently our school bus drivers can't handle driving on just about anything. Kids have already had Saturday school.
It wasn't all that bad -- a coating of icy snow which is melting in the morning sun. And the forsythia branches I brought in are all a-bloom this morning. But I have to keep rebuking...
It has been rather dreary these past few days. I may begin rebuking with you; if I can't have snow with the cold, grey weather, I'd rather have sunshine and a little warmth.
Vicki, you continue to show my what a very funny lady you are.
Have you by chance seen the Asheville page in the 2/23/14 Travel Section of The New York Times, sub title of the page is Where Bistros Join Tattoo Parolors.
I would be happy to mail you this page if you'd like. Sometimes seeing the actual page is better than any on line link.

It may be cold, but this post has a playful energy, and the buds look very bright and full of new life.
The buds and animals look just fine with the weather, at least from the inside. I'm doing a little rebuking myself, along with freezing my butt off.

Oh dear, I hear ya! ;-)
A friend made it out of DC last night, arriving this morning in Vienna, where spring is in the air.
Hope spring rises soon in your parts, too!
Hugs,
Merisi

We have Forsythia blooming on our kitchen table, too. Also, Baby's Breath Spirea. They do uplift the spirits.
You have such a cute puppy and two really cute kitties. Great photos to see.
