Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
Interesting look to these, Vicki.
Oh, magical! i am all atwitter, such beauty those birds!
nice...i like what you did with the pics...or maybe just how they turned out...the wash out of light is really cool...i like the colors of the birds as well...smiles..
Love the treatments! You've made small works of art.
Cardinals - my favorite.Sam
These were all a bit blurry so I fooled around with them in Picasa's editing tools.
When does a photograph become art? Whenever the artist says so. Lovely. I usually shy away from "picasa-ed" pics, but these are very well done!
Beautifully done. There is something of the look of thermal images to them -0 the life shines through.
Cardinals are definitely amongst my very favorite birds. (Vicki, I am hoping that current issue of The New Yorker turns up in my mailbox today...I want to see the Mitchell piece. Thank you.)
Love your photoshop work with these images; most importantly, you got great snaps prior to playing around with them. Wonderful results!
