Words and pictures from the author of the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries
Very colorful! I like them very much!
Zinnias are always my favorite to photograph. Yours are really up and blooming. I am waiting for mine to put on some buds. I have mine planted in too much shade. Sun in the morning works but it needs sun all day. You have some great shots here.
Do you ever dry zinnias, Vicki? Their sturdy substance makes them ideal for this.
The first one my favorite. Love the perspectivE and colors
Aren't zinnia colors jolly! A single flower is a joy to behold, but add another four, five or six in other shads to the mix ... and watch what happens. Thank you, Vicki, for bringing us this summer bouquet.(I do have to mention that zinnia leaves and stems have a very odd texture...good that the flowers have such brilliance to overcome my aversion to the green bits.)xo
Oh, I love zinnias, they're such a cheerful flower. I love all the photos!
