Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
This is my view every morning while I'm sitting on the toy chest at the foot of my bed, putting on my socks.
Some days I wake before dawn, fix my coffee, and just sit to watch the changes. Yes you have similar beautiful ones, and I share the gratitude!
You definitely have a fantastic view from your house. what is your driveway like up that mountain?
Oue 'driveway' is a half mile long--from the mailbox to our house. The last third is steep--usually requiring 4WD. It's the price we gladly pay for the view and the privacy.
You are indeed fortunate.
That view really socks it to us.
I'd never move from that spot!
