The pond is at the lower part of our farm, about a quarter of a mile from the house. This is probably the first time I've photographed it this year but it's been well documented in the past.
Jim -- yes, a bumblebee. And there are bass and frogs and water snakes and the occasional snapping turtle in the pond. No ducks, because of the snapping turtle. Rarely any skeeters.
The wisteria is beautiful Vicki. Has it been there long? Hanging over the arbour it looks very fairy-like and dreamy. The perfect spot for thinking up a new mystery story? You have such a wonderful location with so much space, so many flowers and plants and animals. Just perfect!

Enjoying these peaceful spring pictures a lot.
I think I'd want to be sitting out there all the time. I don't think I've ever seen that area before. Do you photograph it often?
I don't know how you get any work done with this lovely place where you can sit and enjoy life.

Such an inviting place to sit and read or ponder life's mysteries.
How inviting. Was that a bumble bee I saw? Are there any skeeters? Any fish?, frogs? ducks? snakes? turtles?
What a perfect spot. How do you ever get anything DONE? I'd just want to laze there.
Glorious! I feel cooler, thanks to your photos. :-)

Is that wisteria? Looks to be so. Love the plant growing over the arboretum -- barbara

These scenes are welcoming me to walk right in, take a seat, and enjoy the splendor. What is that gorgeous draping purple tree?
Lise -- it's a vine -- wisteria.
