Willa is reveling in her freedom these days. As soon as the sun come up, she demands to be let out to make sure the rabbits and chipmunks aren't fomenting revolution.
There is so much to see about...
And a whole world of smells to investigate. So far, however, she come back to the house every so often to make sure we're still there or to have a snack or a nap.
It's a pleasure to all of us to see her running free. And the chewing on things is much reduced -- she just doesn't have time.

She's a lucky girl to have her freedom and to have it in such a lovely place, too. Very lucky girl!
Willa is so fortunate that you adopted her...and you're fortunate, too, she's a darling girl!
Enchanting, dog and nature!
The dogwoods are blooming, I miss them.
It's nice to hear that Willa is being a good girl and enjoying life. Way to go Willa!
Willa looks like one very contented dog.
Bless her, Willa does fully appreciate the spring!
Well, now you know how to make sure she returns home - have a snack or a treat for her. Smart dog that Willa.
Thank goodness she's not still chewing things. That's one of the main reasons we don't want to get another dog. Much too old to tolerate the chewing puppy stage that they all go through.

What a contented pup!
Willa better keep an eye on the squirrels, too...I think they might be up to something. :-)
It is such a delight to watch a young pup discover the world.
willa looks mighty proud of herself.
I knew she was going to be a good one! What a lucky pup!
She's in her element! LOL
Interesting that a puppy, like a child, will check back to base every now and again. It looks a nice life.
Fabulous! What happy photos!
Willa appears to be such a gentle dog. -- barbara
