Lovely pictures Vicki, perfect for a Sunday. I just got round to reading your last post. Hmmmm I'm against abortion in most cases, although not if the life of the mother is in danger. I certainly wouldn't make a mother carry a dead fetus till full-term, that's barbaric. However, I think it is unacceptable for a mother to decide to abort a fetus because she doesn't want it. That to me is just dreadful. I also believe that the father and the grandparents should have some say in it. I do have a tiny bit of experience in this, when the girlfriend of one of my sons had an abortion last year. She didn't tell anybody, she just did it. We will never know if it really happened or if the baby to be was his because we were not consulted AT ALL. How do you think the father to be would feel in that situation? How did we as grandparents-to-be feel? I can answer that - TERRIBLE. She just went and took away that life because it wasn't convenient to her. Words fail me when I think of it.

The beautiful and strange castle on my last post is that of the famous author Alexandre Dumas

Is it worth reading Rona Jaffe's best seller "the best of everithing"? ( "Rien n'est trop beau" in French, Presses de la Cité )
I like the rants and the pretty pictures!
I want to reach out a grab those tulips.
Sam
smells good to me...ha....was walking around the yard yesterday smelling everything...
All beauties!
THanks for food for the eyes, after yesterday's food for thought! Glad you caught the spammer's comment!
Thanks, Miss Yves for the links! I haven't read any of Rona Jaffe's books so can't advise you on this.
The pictures are from yesterday and Friday -- today is gray and rainy.
Your comments on the war on women was far to calm and reasoned to qualify for the term "rant." I appreciated that post AND this one--lovely photos. J
Great pics as always!
