With Apologies to Dr. Seuss

The sun did not shine; It was too wet to play.
So Willa sat in the house all that cold, cold wet day.

She sat there with Ali; they sat there those two
And she said, "How I wish we had something to do.
Then Ali got the binky and the battle began. . .

These two played hard and long till Ali was whupped.
Something to to do on a cold rainy day.

Looks like a safe game to play inside. They look like they're good friends.

I think Dr. Seuss would be delighted. I know I am.

What a great story of two good looking dogs. I know how dogs do get bored in the house when they can't go outside. Our border collie has too much energy to just lay around all day. He sometimes gets in the bay window and barks out at the people and animals that are passing by the way.

What a treat. Glad you also found something to do on that cold, cold wet day. Today is VERY wet here but almost balmy. Strange indeed. The wind is so fierce that I was actually glad when it got too dark to see the trees bending.

Oh, yes, Willa is 110% recovered -- and a little stir crazy with another day of rain. Poor Ali is beginning to look a little desperate when she comes after him.

Charming post! Dogs stuck inside on a cold rainy day are like kids -- only with teeth. ;-) At least the really bad rain didn't start (at least a bit south of Asheville) until after dark, but we even had thunder and lightning. The temperature was warm enough to leave our winter coats in the trunk of the car ...
