What fun! And that first photo is high art too.
I have a very similar picture of my daughter at the same age - outside, no shirt, fingerpainting on the wooden deck. I also remember for first grade, I cut down an old button down shirt of my husband's to use as an art smock.
Such wonders to see those colors before you...I remember the joy of mixing and swirling them together...then translated it to crayons!
