Oh, What a Beautiful Morning!

I love the morning light!

Josie has fancy shoes, along with her hair bow.

A phalanx of Siberian irises.

The pond is ringed with yellow flag iris.

When we had the pond dug (maybe twenty years ago?) I planted a few clumps of these beauties that I'd dug from a boggy place on the unoccupied land that adjoined us.

They have thriven.

Josie is almost one -- what a big girl she is!

Beautiful irises. And beautiful Josie! She's really growing fast. So sweet.

Even a beautiful morning cannot cast competition to Miss Josie's pretty bow, new shoes and sweetness. She will give everyone a happy start to their day. Good Morning Miss Josie, xx

Josie is the prettiest flower in the garden!

We're all a tad prejudiced.

Pond must have been dug more than 20 years ago. I first visited for Easter in 1995 and there was definitely a pond already.
