I love seeing the distant views in mountains...something the plains just don't afford, because there's so much sky. I'll never forget seeing those clouds that are right down next to the farthest peeks parting and finding even higher mountains in the far distance...that was the Rockies. I'm happy with the Appalachians!
What beautiful photos! I especially like pictures of trees with bare branches. There is something magical about them.
