Thanks for bringing the spring in my house! Thanks for your comment too. I think these psalms are sometimes so difficult to understand. David was continuously at war.
Oh Vicki I am so happy for you and your friends who are enjoying the signs and smells of Spring, we are still enjoying snow flurries today and it is -20 with the wind chill not to mention we still have 5 feet of snow in my back yard...err! (and that's after it has melted some this week) Oh well, I will be so very appreciative of Spring and Summer this year when and if it actually arrives!.....:-)Hugs
What a lovely Spring collage. I should have done that with all our floral trees and blossom six weeks ago but they are all gone now with our two weeks of torrential downpours!
You're giving me hope for warmth with these beautiful photos... But, alas, Western NY is still in the 20's. I've known weather in March around here when we've at least had a few days knocking on 70's door, but not this year.
Hope that's not a sign of one of those summers that doesn't happen!!
Isn't it amazing... one minute we're in the bleak cold gray days of winter, feeling as if it will never end, and the next minute - everything is in bloom! For some reason, it feels as if it happened almost overnight this year. Beautiful photos.
That's a wonderful spring collage Vicki. I find my eyes darting to the roadside constantly, always on the lookout for a glimpse of colorful blooms. Hubby says I'm obsessed :-) but he did stop on the side of the road for me to get a photo this afternoon!

I'm the author of The Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries from Bantam Dell. The series includes SIGNS IN THE BLOOD (LA MONTAGNE DES SECRETS in France), ART'S BLOOD, (LE SECRET DES APPALACHES in France,) OLD WOUNDS,IN A DARK SEASON (Anthony Nominee, Best PBO), and UNDER THE SKIN. There's also THE DAY OF SMALL THINGS (a spinoff/standalone)chronicling the unexpected life story of Miss Birdie, one of Elizabeth's neighbors.
I came to this weird business late (my first novel was published in 2005) and am still trying to figure it out.
As my novels are set in a place much like my real life home, I thought I'd use this blog to share pictures of our farm and county. I've been blogging for over four years now, on an almost daily basis, and the topics have ranged from writing, chickens, food, books, quilts, flora and fauna of all sorts, to the occasional tiny rant. There's no plan, but there are lots of pictures.
There's more information about me and my books on my web site: http://vickilanemysteries.com/

Spectacularly beautiful!
Wonderful spring photos; our world is amazing with our opposite seasons.
I'm loving every single minute of it.
Thanks for bringing the spring in my house!

And so welcome this morning. I'm looking out the window at a dense blanket of fog. To top that off, we have ice in the forecast.

I ADORE your painted interior cabinets, your cat has a most FABULOUS life and your flower photos are stunning. Thank you!
I believe I recognize some of those. Mine have snow on them, this morning, though!

LOOK at all of those beautiful flowers! We've got another month or so to go before they bloom like that around here.
What a lovely display of spring flowers. Are those from your garden? I love them – such vibrant colors.
No snow here, thank goodness, though it's foggy and cold.
Yes, the flowers are all from my yard -- except the gardenia which is in the greenhouse till we have reliably warm weather.

Beautiful - what a joy to see.
